I wish I would have taken a picture of this bass before I started. But it's finished now. When I bought it, it had the wrong tuners, no bridge cover, no pickguard, the wrong knobs, no strings, a broken pickup ring and no truss rod cover. It was an eBay project bass.

I have completed putting it back together in it's original state. The only difference is the pickguard I put on it is 5 ply (the EB-3 look from the same year) and not the 3 ply that would have been on the EB-0 originally.

I put a set of GHS flats on it when it was finally put together which gives it a great old EB-0 tone.

I have the proper truss rod cover, but, I decided to make it mine and had one made with my name on it. All together about $500 in the bass.

This is a keeper. Since I am not playing anywhere, I may as well fix up a few with a great Rock & Roll history. This bass is just like my first "name brand" bass. I bought an EB-0 new in 72. It was stolen from the ship I served on in 75.
