Ableton ... Cool
I know Wheat is using Ableton and I am not sure if he has seen this option but it is pretty cool, the WARP feature, talk about cheating hehe. I have had Ableton since Live4 but never really looked at ALL the fetures. Take a look at what WARP does ...

I messed with it just a little bit: worked through a tutorial on fixing drum performances. There's a lot you could do with it, both for cheating and for creating really weird beats by intentionally warping things. Fun, fun.
I've just about got my iMac lined out enough that I'd feel comfortable sitting down to record. One of my external hard drives took a dive, so I've been restoring lots of things from backups. But I'm getting there.
