Two classic Stu Hamm instructional vids, now on DVD
The folks at Hot Licks have been slowly releasing a lot of their back-catalog titles on DVD. I noticed today (thanks to the new aggregator) that Stu Hamm's two instructional tapes, long out of print, are now on DVD.
You can get 'em at the BP Online Store, of course.

I have seen many pictures and videos of Stu playing bass. I'm speaking of the red bass he is always pictured with. Does anyone know what model bass that is?

That's probably his signature model from Fender. He actually has two: the Urge and the Urge II. Here's a pic, in blue:
The original Urge was, as I recall, a 32" scale. But the Urge II (the only one they still make) is a 34"
