At least ya kept it below the jaw in length. I can not stand the "old lady" cuts some young women get. As already mentioned, looks good and I will save the other comments for Dave. ;)

When I got my hair cut on Jan 18th, 1974 (from waist length to a 70s sort of layered thingy) the barber asked me if wanted to keep it. I thought he was nuts. LOL
Just go for the cut that I prefer: 1/4" buzz. I haven't taken the plunge and shaved it clean yet. But that's mostly because I'd miss my sideburns. Of course, before mother nature had her evil way with me, I used to rock the long hair:
Wipes a tear from this old eye. I LOVE long hair on a woman, it's the ultimate in femininity! It's bordering on a fetish with me lol
At least it's not really short Ann. You'd look lovely no matter what, and your hair still looks cool, but...16 inches!
I guess maintenance is now easier, but 16 whole long lovely flowing inches!
I've been getting mixed reviews from everyone. That's a good thing.
It was an event to wash and style the hair that I had. I dropped my cell phone in the bathtub twice before because I'd be washing my hair and someone would call. It also would get caught in my bass strap and would occasionally get tangled in my strings. The best thing about the length now is that none of my hair ends up underneath my strap anymore!
This is the 3rd time I've grown it long and then chopped it off. The last two times were pixie cuts (really short). I loved that cut because it was so easy to deal with, but I didn't feel as girly as I wanted to.
I've found that my hair always grows back. It's amazing.
I can understand the problem of long hair Ann, but there is always a pony tail to keep it out of the strap / strings.
If you think short hair is easier to live with, try having to go on safari to find your hair like my barber does in my case. He is threatening me with a search fee. When I ask him for "just a trim please" he replies "which one, the one on the right or the one on the left?"
Being an old seaman I thought about tying them in a rather fancy and decorative double Mathew Walker knot, but that takes 3 strands and I have only 2. Not only that but they are a long way apart. lol
So I think you are lucky to have hair of ANY length, especially on your head, and not growing in great abundance from your ears and nose, under your pits and on ya chest like Vern and myself. Imagine that with your boots on! lol
I'm too much of a sucker for long hair, but it still looks good shorter. I'd prefer the longer, but then, it ain't MY head (which, by the way, looks like a fuzzy bowling ball).

Toddlers are so innocent they don't know what they are saying, and the old and decrepit are believed to be past it, or so senile that they too don't know what they are saying. In Vern's case of course thats true. lol. In my case I really am honest modest and especially pure. Ann says she is sure that I am, so she believes me. Very wise young lady too. Would I lie to you Hazz?

Heading South
It's not that my hairline is receeding, it's either my forehead is growing or my hair has been migrating southwards LOL

Thanks! Sometimes I miss it. But toupees and comb-overs are cheezy, and I'm not going to join the Hair Club for Men.
On the up side, I save a lot of money on shampoo. :)
