Got a used Warwick...

..Rockbass from GC for the insane price of $150.00! It's the transparent blue.

I was in the market for a first bass. My max budget was $200. I didn't want to invest a lot of money if I didn't like playing. I tried some lower cost models (ibanez, dean, etc) and they were ok, but nothing to drool over. However, as I was walking around the store I found the warwick tucked away in the corner. It was orginally marked @ $200, but was now $150. I never heard of the brand, but tried it anyway....that's when I knew it was mine!
The shape seemed to hug my body, the playing was smooth with clear tone and sound. No fret buzz at all. The range of tone and sounds were awesome! I was really impressed, so I purchased it and have been enjoying it ever since!

I HIGHLY recommend Warwick for any looking for a beautil bass!

Congrats on the new bass.

Congrats on the new bass. Warwick is a very respected brand and should serve you well. There's nothing like a great bass to keep you interested in playing.

i agree with paul..

warwick are nice basses and should serve you well.

you also seemed to pick your bass like you should rather than worrying about name but chose it on fit, playability and sound....

Nice!

$150 is a steal, you should be ashamed. Warwick does not make a cheap bass like other brands do. They are all good guitars.

GC tries to double their money on used gear so figure they paid $75 to $100 to get the bass. Have your bass checked out by a tech to make sure the neck and bridge are adjusted and you have a prize.

Congrats, Obejuan. It's

Congrats, Obejuan. It's always great when you can find something good for cheap. Warwick's don't fit my hand very well, but a lot of people like them and enjoy playing them. They have a distinctive look and a nice tone.
