First round of papers

Teaching is okay, except for the grading, and the students. But, especially, the grading. I've got six done and nine to go. I hope to knock out another five or six tonight. The wife is going to visit some friends and is taking Haden. So I'll have the house to myself.

What are you teaching? I'm currently in university, so I know that it's just as painful to write the papers. lol

American Lit. II (i.e.

American Lit. II (i.e. 1865-present). I used to teach freshman composition (2nd half). But they had an extra section of Amlit II and threw it my way. I've been teaching it for several semesters now, just one class per term (this being my part-time gig). Thinking about giving it up after the fall, though. Working two jobs is getting old. It cuts into time I'd rather spend on music and reading.
