Making some final tweaks to my online American Lit II class. I think this might be it for me. I've been teaching online as a second job for a while now. But I think I can do without the extra work and the extra money. I'm still thinking it over, of course, but I've more-or-less made up my mind.
This fall, I'm going to be teaching a technical communications class, but that's a requirement at my "real" job. Rather than laying a bunch of people off, they've asked everyone who is qualified to teach to do so, and they needed someone to teach this technical writing class. So I decided to take that one on. But I think I can fit that one into my routine w/o much trouble.

Not sure what it's like in yer neck of the woods but with all the crap going on around here, CA, it is refreshing to see some teachers still have a good amount of work.

Yeah, they've cut a lot of adjuncts in my neck of the woods. But, in Little Rock, where I teach (online), I'm still around. :)
