Hi folks. Been a while since I've been here (been a while since I've been anywhere). I have now, more or less, retired from playing. My oldest daughter now owns the OLP and has been playing steady. She is in a play with live music. She not only performs as an actress but performs as the only bass player. She's pretty damn good for being self taught and only 14. Funny thing is, we went to see the play opening night and you could tell she was into the playing.
good to see ya......
glad to see ya posting Brian......bummer bout retiring from playing.....at least ya got a protege to carry on the bass playing tho.

I hope all is well with you and the family. As I recall, your daughter was very small when we first met those many years ago on AB. Has it been that long?

Nice to see you around here B1. It sounds like your daughter is doing well with the playing and acting. So how come you've retired from playing? You were having wrist problems weren't you? Is that it? If so it's a real shame.

Well my friend at least you still have Bob. The most beautiful bass that mankind has ever known and my personal favorite. At some point in time we all have to lay it down by choice or other. But, I sure hope you will still hang with us my friend. It's more about friendship than playing bass!

Good hearing from ya BB. Not so good about the hands though, that's tough but at least the bass is still in the family.;)
Sounds like the little one is doing well in her playing/acting in front of an audience. Gotta love it and feel the pride of seeing the little ones perform like that.
Cheers
