I Modded the T40!!

BoH's picture

So I took the plunge. On Peavey T60.com, I found a mod for the T40 that requires two simple snips of wire. Clipping the red wires leading to each tone pot will nullify the coil splitting feature thus making the two tone knobs full range treble. Now I have two very hot humbucks who will crush all who defy the god of bass. I never used the single coil setting anyway and can always put it back if I want to.

sounds good bo.....

what if you put a small switch in the red wire on each and made it so you can flip the switch and have the mod or flip it back and have original ?

Actually, since you

Actually, since you mentioned it, I may look at installing a switch for each pickup.
